Those of you who know my work, know that every hologram has an influence on a specific part of our subconscious. I call them codes, because they help you to decipher hidden information within yourself. Every code contains information of a certain frequency, or to be more specific, a vibrational energy which resonates with our senses. In my columns, connected to the latest codes, I describe my experience connected to these frequencies. Every month I take on a code that is most prominent at the time and I share my opinion on our development within this theme.
There are times when you have the feeling that you just need to press the pause button. No planning, no distractions and no pressure around you. Separating yourself from having to do something and always on the move. Emptying your mind and re-charging yourself for the next round. The month of December is exactly the right time of year to do this and that is why the code Processing did not come as a complete surprise. It completely fits in with our habit of looking back on the year and what has happened to us, even though processing in my opinion is something slightly different that looking back at the past. It goes much further, just as if you are having a good clean out inside. You create space for yourself, so that you will be able to grow in a new phase.
Of course I am not telling you anything you do not already know. Processing is just a part of life. It’s the reason why we go on holiday, and reward ourselves with days out, dinners and amusement. But do we really use these moments to actually listen to our heart? Do we really take the time to put everything in its place? Or do we take the past with us into the future?
Resistance to the code
Even I have to admit that I have not been processing for a while, maybe not for years. This project is my life (and it always will be) and in this project I am always looking for new challenges to be able to grow and sometimes I just forget myself. Then it’s no wonder that I felt resistance to this code Processing at first. I found it hard to connect, because I always have so much to do in the month of December. However, saying this I saw the challenge to go into the process and I immediately organized two Open Days with this theme. This was the right choice, I can feel that now. After I had made the code Development (and received a lot of reactions about it) the response to this code was disappointing and that is logical. We prefer to connect ourselves to things that stimulate us, rather than stopping everything and taking the time to go inside. We don’t have time for that do we?
It felt exactly the same for me and I am happy that I choose for Processing. Even this column is the result of a processing phase that I found myself in over the past few weeks. Not that I was sitting sobbing at my desk, absolutely not. There were more positive things to process than negatives one. But I am happy that it is all done, because I feel that I can begin 2015 with a completely clear slate!
OK yes, I know that I completely underestimated the theme of processing. Normally I am not really the type to do this, because it feels like standing still to me. Perhaps you recognize that: the feeling that you are just lazy, that you are not doing anything and not playing a part in the social traffic of each and every day. In the new film Power of the Heart this has been discussed by the American writer and philosopher Mark Nepo, who says in an interview about the biggest pitfalls of people. One of his statements is that we are unable to connect to our heart if we associate rest with laziness. I completely agree with that, because being passive does feel strange. I recognize this in a lot of people including myself. If you don’t do something for a day or so or are unreachable, it feels as though you are no longer a part of things, as if you are missing something. This is because of the belief that you have to perform and have to be a part of the struggle for success. And just as you know: this belief is in your mind not in your heart.
Do you remember?
Luckily I gained more insights in this during discussions with my team. Whilst we were making the plans for 2015, and we have chosen a new course, and I would like to just tell you that we are going to make big changes next year! This needs a completely new state of mind, which of course makes things exciting, but at the same time can be confusing if you are still sitting with your feelings in the past. I often see this in sessions: people want to change, but it feels as if they are stuck somewhere. And if they force themselves to actually take steps – by themselves or due to pressure in their surroundings – they force their growth and create chaos. Believe me: I know this pattern well because I have experienced it myself. I have experienced the necessary changes and often taken action far too quickly. And now I need to make important changes, but the difference from the previous occasions is that I am thinking about this much more consciously. The decision to change was taken quickly, and after this the emotions follow. They do not announce themselves. You have to take the time for them. Otherwise you take the past with you into the future and then any new creation is not accurate.
Having said that, I have experienced the power of processing this change during the past month. Because I gave myself the opportunity to make contact with the past and any emotions that I had not dealt with, space was created in my system. This does not have to be dramatic of difficult. It can also be about positive things. A great example was reaching a milestone and because of all the things that were going on, I did not pay any attention to it. In April it was exactly 10 years ago since I gave my first presentation in Bennekom (The Netherlands) and I remembered that in January I was going to plan some sort of reunion. But nothing came of it and maybe that was not the intention. There was just a feeling of pride that came up within, to remind me about the path I have walked over the past years. And you should not try and catch such a feeling by doing something specific (for my part organizing an event) because then you get it all wrong. You can just stop and enjoy. Just by allowing the memories to come up one by one; the funny, lovely, clumsy moments you have stored inside; that you have not paid any more attention to in a longtime, which you may have put to one side even in shame, but that you can now look back on with pride and then finally let them go. Without trying to find anything specific, just look at them and say to yourself, do you remember?
It’s only about you
I don’t need to write a long column. Everyone processes things in their own way, but I just want to keep hold of the feeling. That is why I would like to share with you, if you like me, are going to take a new course, just let go of other peoples opinions. Not everyone will support you right away, so just stay with yourself. Don’t allow yourself to be distracted from what you really want. Don’t allow yourself to be pressured into taking decisions in haste. Make sure that you do not fall down under the social pressure, because it’s only about you. No one can decide when you are ready to make the jump, only you. And if there are people that get left behind, let go of them with love. They have their own path and their own goals and ideals and yes: they will get there too. This is your moment, your choice to change your life and of course you don’t have to do this all in one go. Just like I said; it takes time. And if you want to speed up your process, allow yourself to be inspired by the code Processing. It will help you to clear out old baggage, so that you can begin the New Year with a fresh start.
Finally I want to say something that I nearly forgot during the past few busy weeks. I would like to sincerely thank each and every single one of you who has inspired me and supported me to do this work over the past 10 years and continues to do so. I don’t want this to sound like some kind of farewell, even though it feels that way a bit at the moment. The next year will not end like I intend to begin this one, I know that for sure. For me this is a turning point and for those of you who continue to follow me, I really hope to inspire you. I want to thank my fantastic team, that support me totally when things are really hectic and also when things are quiet. I would like to thank all of you who have organized events and all the work you have put into this, your support and belief in this project. All of the volunteers who helped during events, the speakers and the Masters who gave each an every event a special shine. Also thank you to everyone who has shared my codes through social media. And finally thank you to everyone who has shared the codes and activations in their own personal circles within Facebook, Twitter etc.
The only thing left to say is to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, with lots of love, warmth and happiness. Follow your heart, especially in the New Year, and allow 2015 to be your turning point too.
From heart to heart
